June Project for Craft for the Craic

Hi Everyone,
I am back again today with another project for the Craft for the Craic DT.
This month the theme is:-

I decided this month to make a keepsake of Our Beach trips last Year.

I used a Papier Mache Shadow box frame, I didn't want it highly coloured so I left the frame plain and just gave it a coat of Matt Multi Medium. I cut some paper for the background which had a sand pattern, this is mostly covered up. I used a photo of Evan going through his Beach Treasure when he came home from one of our beach trips last year.

I put a photo mat behind the picture, this paper had cute crabs and shells on it.

Here is a close up of some of the stones in Evans hand.

This stone had what looked like an F etched in it and for Me stands for Family.
I placed some of the nicest stone we found up the left side of the picture.

I then put some of the shells up the right side.
We also collected a little glass bottle of sand, I used My label maker to add the date to the bottle.
To complete the Keepsake I used Red letter stickers, to match Evans Red bucket, which was used to collect all the treasure :-) :-)

So there we have it one complete project, I hope to make another keepsake from our Adventures this Summer. If You have any questions please leave a comment below and I will be happy to answer.

Why not try and make Your own Summer project and come over and join us at Craft for the Craic
We would Love to see what You Create :-)

I will hopefully be back soon with another project, I have lots of things half made :-) :-)

Happy Crafting,
Michelle xx
